Early Morning Fire Under Investigation By State Fire Marshal’s Office

NORTH WEBSTER — A fire on Ponderosa Drive, North Webster, is under investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office.
Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory Fire Chief Jeremy Likens stated the department was called to an address on Ponderosa Drive at approximately 12:51 a.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 17, for a fully involved mobile home fire. He stated when firefighters arrived there were flames throughout the home.
“We had a good knock down,” Likens stated. There were no injuries to firefighters. The fire was brought under control at 1:44 a.m.
Pierceton and Leesburg fire departments were called within minutes for a full assist. Turkey Creek Fire Territory was put on standby for Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory.
Firefighters from Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory were back in service at 6:54 a.m.
