Illusionist Bill Blagg is returning to the Lerner Theatre from Las Vegas for one show only March 8. Blagg has been hailed by critics across the country for his unique style of magic and illusion.
Blagg’s big break occurred when he won a magic competition at the age of 18 in the “Magic Capital of the World,” Colon, Mich. He was the youngest contestant to ever win the event. By winning he joined the ranks of his idols, which include Las Vegas magician Lance Burton. Blagg’s style of magic does not involve traditional tricks with playing cards or birds. Instead, he prefers to entertain with grand-scale illusions such as apparently teleporting across theaters and squishing his body to just 5 feet in height. He combines magical talents with wit and off-the-cuff commentary.
