Candidate Filing Begins For 2024 Primary Election

WARSAW — Candidate filing for the 2024 primary election began on Wednesday, Jan. 10.
Between 8 and 8:30 a.m., James Moyer and Rachael Rhoades went to the county clerk’s office to file for Kosciusko County Surveyor and Kosciusko County Council at-large, respectively.
Local offices on the ballot for 2024 include Kosciusko Circuit Court judge; Circuit Court clerk; county treasurer; county coroner; county surveyor; county commissioner, northern district; county commissioner, middle district; three seats for county council at-large; Republican precinct committeemen; Republican state convention delegates; and Democrat state convention delegates.
Filing ends at noon Feb. 9. The 2024 primary election is on Tuesday, May 7.
School board filing begins May 21 and runs through June 20.
