Olive M. Shanks, 87, Rochester, died at 7:17 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2024, at Wynnfield Cross, Rochester.

She was born Nov. 30, 1936. On Sept. 3, 1953, she married Thomas J. Shanks, who preceded her in death in 2015.

She is survived by her children, Pamela Baldwin, Kewanna, Kathy Dunwoody, Logansport, and Laurie (Matt) Cox, Rochester; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, is handling arrangements.
