WARSAW — Free A1C screenings to detect pre-diabetes and blood pressure readings will be offered this week at the YMCA in Warsaw.

Dates and times are 5:45-7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, and 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA, 1305 Mariners Drive.

No fasting is required, but registration is required. You can register by visiting this link.

Participants also can learn about the YMCA’s blood pressure self-monitoring program, which can help people manage or reduce their blood pressure.

The free screenings are made possible through a federal grant.

Only blood pressure readings will be available at the YMCA branch located at 301 N. Main St., North Webster.
