Matthew T. Hurley, 37, Tippecanoe, died unexpectedly Friday, Dec. 22, 2023, in South Bend.

He was born March 5, 1986. On July 31, 2021, he married Jessica Butler, who survives.

He also is survived by his brother, Robert “PJ” (Andrea) Hurley IV, Greenwood; mother-in-law, Janet Butler, Island Lake, Ill.; brother-in-law, Matthew (Deirdre) Butler, Wheaton, Ill.; aunts and uncles, Donna and Steve Rude, Cynthia and Larry Biggs, and Tom and Joy Troutman; and several nieces and nephews.

Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Kewanna, is handling arrangements.
