WARSAW — January is a wonderful time to come indoors for some great fun at the Warsaw Community Public Library. We have great activities in January for all ages to enjoy.

On Tuesday, Jan. 2, Roz Puppets will visit with a special presentation titled “George and the Dragon.” The performance will begin at 5:30 p.m. We will continue events for kids with family-fun activity stations from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3. Enjoy an all-day Busy Bricks from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan 5., and the Busy Bricks Club from 10:30 a.m. to noon Friday, Jan. 6.

We will start having activities for tweens (ages 9–12) by exploring Italian culture at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24. Participants will get to sample food, crafts and music. The event is free, but please register in advance.

The teens have several events in January, starting with the Anime Club at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4; come and get a tutorial on how to draw a character. Thursday, Jan. 18, will provide a fun improvisation workshop at 5 p.m., and finishing out with the teens is a 1980s board games and music event at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22.

We have some great events planned for the general and/or adult patrons. Monday, Jan. 8, will be an all-day “Lord of the Rings” movie marathon starting at 10:30 a.m. — popcorn included. Tuesday, Jan. 9, will provide an informative first aid workshop from the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory at 10 a.m. We will continue our come-and-go euchre time at 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9. Anyone is welcome, but tutoring is unavailable. We will have our favorite family bingo at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, with prizes for all ages. Finally, there will be an after-school movie at 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29. Check our online calendar at warsawlibrary.org for the title.
