Thelma Louise Hartley, 80, South Whitley, formerly of Barbee Lake, died at 6:18 a.m. Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, at home.

She was born March 2, 1943. On Sept. 5, 1970, she married Marvin Lee Hartley, who preceded her in death in 2017.

She is survived by her children, Larry R. Bowen, Anderson, Tammy L. (Darrell) Meyerink, South Whitley, and David S. (Holli) Hartley, Bonita Springs, Fla.; stepchildren, James L. (Candy) Hartley, Muncie, and Chad M. (Deborah) Hartley, Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; seven sisters; and five brothers.

Smith & Sons Funeral Home, South Whitley, is handling arrangements.
