William Mack Haimbaugh, 85, Rochester, died at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023, at home.

He was born May 14, 1938. On Aug. 1, 1959, he married Carol Joy Champ, who survives.

He also is survived by his daughters, Wendy McIndoo, Rochester, Peggy (Rowdy) Carper, Winchester, Va., and Rosetta (Randy) Podell, Winamac; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Alonzo Haimbaugh Jr., Florida, Harold Haimbaugh, Florida, and David Haimbaugh, Florida; sisters, Addie Fields, Florida, Nancy Rehm, Florida, and Laura Lee Arnold, Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, is handling arrangements.
