Jimmy E. Wood, 89, Columbia City, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 27, 1934. On Sept. 8, 1956, he married Ada R. Dowell, who preceded him in death in 2014.

He is survived by his daughter, Ronalyn (Rusty) Hogan; son, Ryan (Tina) Wood; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Barbara) Wood; sister-in-law, Phyllis Wood; and several nieces and nephews.

DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, Columbia City, is handling arrangements.
