New Session Of My Best Health Program Begins Jan. 22
News Release
WARSAW — If you are ready to make long-term lifestyle changes to improve your health and well-being, the My Best Health program can help you do it right. Start 2024 off on a positive, proactive note by applying to enroll in the next session, which begins Jan. 22.
This community-based program from the Parkview Center for Healthy Living can give you a boost in making healthy behavior changes with professional support – virtually or in person – and resources from a team of professionals, including:
• Wellness coach
• Registered nurse
• Registered dietitian
• Personal trainer
The goal of the six-month program is to prevent, stop and reverse chronic diseases, such as obesity, while increasing healthy behaviors such as physical activity and healthful eating, and improving overall personal well-being. The My Best Health team meets each participant where they are in their personal health journey and works to help them set attainable goals.
In 2024, the program will use a hybrid approach. Some sessions will be held virtually, and others will be in person. Participants can choose whichever option is most convenient for their schedules.
In-person classes are offered at the Noble County location of the Parkview Center for Healthy Living – inside The Community Learning Center, 401 Diamond St. in Kendallville – and at the Kosciusko County location inside Parkview Warsaw YMCA, 1305 Mariners Drive in Warsaw.
My Best Health is presented in partnership with the Parkview Warsaw YMCA in Kosciusko County and the Cole Center Family YMCA in Noble County.
Enrollment applications for My Best Health will be accepted until January 19. Applications can be found at www.parkview.com/mybesthealth. Class size is limited to 10 participants at each location, and participants must submit a fully completed application to be considered. Note that completing an application does not guarantee automatic enrollment. Participants will receive an official welcome packet via email.
Cost for the program is $300 per participant.
