Crispen Arrested For Allegedly Molesting Child
Staff Report
ROCHESTER — A Rochester man was recently arrested for allegedly molesting a child multiple times during a six-year period.
Jonas Garett Crispen, 40, 1951 Skyview Lane, Rochester, is charged with child molesting, a level 1 felony; and child molesting, a level 4 felony.
On Feb. 15, a child in Fulton County reported they had been sexually abused by Crispen for six years. The Indiana State Police were called to investigate.
According to court documents, a forensic interview with the child was conducted on Feb. 21. The child said they never reported the assault because Crispen threatened to kill the child’s relatives.
During the interview, the child described in great detail where the molestations occurred, as well as the first time Crispen molested them. When describing how often these types of incidents occurred, the child said it “happened a lot.”
On March 31, ISP received notification from an attorney, who said Crispen would not be providing a statement on the case.
Crispen was booked in the Fulton County Jail on Dec. 17.
