WARSAW — A Syracuse man will serve two years in prison for burglarizing a home and stealing multiple items.

Pierce was sentenced in Kosciusko Superior Court One on Thursday, Dec. 14.
For burglary, Kosciusko Superior Court One Judge Karin McGrath sentenced Pierce to four years at the Indiana Department of Correction, with two years executed and two years suspended on probation. He also received a one-year DOC sentence for theft. Both charges will be served at the same time.

On June 2, 2022, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a burglary in Milford. A woman said she came home and noticed her residence’s front door was locked but ajar. Three video game consoles, a laptop, tools, a camera, and two firearms were stolen from the home.
In an interview, Bailey R. Hepler, Milford, said she and Pierce broke into the residence and stole items.
Hepler was sentenced in July to serve four years at IDOC, with two years suspended on probation.
