Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 7 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, East SR 14, east of South CR 700E, South Whitley. Driver: Phillip D. Moorman, 43, Etna Avenue, Huntington. Moorman’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 6:31 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, South CR 700W, south of West CR 700S, Claypool. Driver: Brandy E. Hooley, 42, West Swick Road, Claypool. Hooley’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 5:48 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, West CR 900N, south of North CR 300W, Warsaw. Driver: Tarrence R. Trusty, 46, North Wabash Street, Wabash. Trusty’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, South Zimmer Road, north of West CR 100S, Warsaw. Driver: Maricela Ramirez, 27, East Walnut Street, Akron. Ramirez’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 3:52 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, West US 30, near North SR 19, Etna Green. Drivers: Viktor Dumych, 29, Linda Lane Apartment GS, Des Plaines, Ill.; and Travis D. Rans, 32, East CR 450N, Rochester. Dumych’s vehicle ran a red light at the SR 19 and US 30 intersection, hitting Rans’ vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

Milford

Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 6:02 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, East Bowser Road, Milford. Drivers: Ryan D. Thwaits, 41, East Vawter Park Road, Syracuse; and Dennis D. Tittle, 43, East Dove Lane, Milford. Thwaits was attempting to exit a driveway when he pulled out in front of Tittle’s vehicle. Tittle was traveling west on East Bowser Road at the time. Damage up to $25,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 4:36 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, East Northshore Drive, west of Iris Lane, Syracuse. Driver: Jared L. Teeple, 23, East Asbury Lane, North Webster. Teeple rear-ended a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, Chestnut Avenue, south of Ninth Street, Winona Lake. Drivers: Emily E. Bugg, 18, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw; and Jacqueline A. Zuercher, 35, South Indiana Street, Warsaw. Bugg was attempting to leave a parking lot when she entered Zuercher’s path of travel on Chestnut Avenue. Damage up to $10,000.
