PORTER COUNTY — Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is coming to Porter County, thanks to support from community groups and the state.

Porter County children ages zero to 5 can be signed up to receive free books. Within a couple of months of registering, children receive their first book in the mail, and a new book will arrive every month until the child’s fifth birthday.

Among the groups helping to bring the book program to the community are the Porter County Community Foundation, the Porter County Public Library System, the Westchester Public Library System and the state of Indiana.
