Camp Alexander Mack Announces School Break Day Camps For K-5
News Release
MILFORD — Camp Alexander Mack has announced the opening of school break day camps for kindergarten through fifth grade students, to begin Jan. 2.
These day camps coincide with the extended vacations of the Warsaw Community Schools and the Wawasee Community School District, as well as other local public and private schools. The day camps provide a wide variety of seasonal activities, both indoor and outdoor, that will provide high quality activities for students during the breaks.
Each day will be filled with regular indoor and outdoor camp activities like crafts, recreation and games, free play, making friends, learning from nature, and seasonally appropriate camp activities including archery, campfires and hiking. Sack lunches and snacks are provided daily.
“We are excited to reach out into our community to provide camp programs to new campers,” said Hunter Jackson, outdoor education director. “Our number one priority is to provide help to parents and fun in the wintertime to campers.”
Registration is now open for the winter day camp, Jan. 2-5. The cost for four days is $120. Before- and after- camp care is available at additional cost. Financial assistance is available to students who receive free or reduced lunch assistance at school. Campers can register now here.
Registration for the Spring Break Day Camp, April 1-5, will open Jan. 5.
