William Paul Hilliard, 85, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023.

He was born Oct. 7, 1938. On Oct. 18, 1958, he married Shirley Hansbrough, who survives.

He also is survived by his children, Tamara (James) Greenlee, W. Scott (Traci) Hilliard and Jodi (Derek) Eveland, all of Plymouth; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (late husband Doug) Comer, Stanley, Va.; several nieces and nephews; and brothers-in-law, Fred (Pat) Jenkins, Jim (late wife Barb) Hansbrough, Ronnie (Judy) Painter and Harold (Brenda) Marshall.
