James Ray Rose, 65, Lagro, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2023, at his daughter’s home.

He was born Dec. 6, 1957. In 1989, he married Rosalie Watson, who preceded him in death in 1996.

He is survived by four children, Jessica Gill, Jenny (Joshua) Halverson and Misty Rose, all of North Manchester, and James Rose, Wabash; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers and sisters, John (Mechele) Rose, Wabash, David Rose, Lagro, and Gene Rose, Cathy Rose, Anna Rose and James Reed, all of Wabash.

Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash, is handling arrangements.
