WARSAW — Holidays are in full swing, and we continue to have festive activities planned here at the Warsaw Community Public Library.
To start it all off, we have Santa Day from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, with Santa arriving by firetruck. We will have crafts, games and refreshments to go along with the festivities. Join us to help jump-start the Christmas season.
The greyhounds will be here for the “Greyt Readers” program from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 9. Drop in for some fun and reading.
The Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory will visit at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, to help you understand how to keep your home and family safe during the holiday season.
During the week of Dec. 11-16, acquire a make-and-take Christmas ornament and a word scramble to take home. Drop in any time that week and go to the table outside of the Community Outreach office.
We have our ever-popular “Paint with Carl” at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18. Paint a winter scene. Register and pay the class fee in advance at the reference desk.
We are excited to have the return of the Chain Gang Quartet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec.19. Listen to the quartet share their favorite Christmas songs in their barbershop style with plenty of nostalgia and humor.
We will be closing out our events for December with a family movie day starting at 10:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29.
We know the holiday season provides many opportunities for family fun, and we hope you will spend some of that time here with us at the library.
