SYRACUSE — At this point in 2023, Wawasee Compass has donated over $107,000 to 109 local families to help provide assistance with rent or mortgage payments, utilities and fuel costs. However, Compass has ran out of funds and can no longer afford to provide local families help.

Without funding, Compass has had to shut it’s doors until it can afford to reopen. Compass is operated entirely on donations and every dollar donated is poured right back into the community, helping families experiencing financial hardships.

Compass is asking the community to take a leap of faith and donate so they can re-open their doors and continue their work. With the holiday season approaching, Compass’ work is valuable more now than ever.
