WARSAW — Members at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church packed meals for the church’s Thanksgiving Basket Outreach Ministry in between morning services on Sunday, Nov. 19.
The members packed non-refrigerated items to present to families in need, including stuffing, mashed potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, apple sauce, green beans, and cookies. Meal recipients got vouchers to purchase their choice of meat, dessert, and dinner rolls.
For 2023, Safe-way Garage Doors presented a check to the church for its outreach ministry program, and The Salvation Army donated some of the food items.
Through this, the Outreach Ministry is providing 200 meals to those in need. The church received names of recipients from Warsaw Community Schools, Beaman Home, Salvation Army, Combined Community Services, and Fellowship Missions.
