WARSAW — A Warsaw teenager was recently arrested after a traffic stop resulted in the discovery of drugs and paraphernalia.
Johnathan Jeremiah Ybarra, 19, 1208 Kuder Lane, Warsaw, is charged with possession of cocaine, a level 5 felony; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.
On Nov. 1, a Warsaw Police officer noticed a vehicle drive left of center on Buffalo Street and pulled the vehicle over. The driver was identified as Ybarra.
According to court documents, Ybarra said he was driving erratically because he was looking at his GPS. The officer learned Ybarra never obtained a driver’s license and took him into custody.
While searching the vehicle, officers found a metal container containing cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Ybarra has already been arrested and released on bond. He has an initial hearing at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in Kosciusko Circuit Court.
