Losee Arrested On Drug Charges

NORTH WEBSTER — A Syracuse man was recently arrested after a traffic stop resulted in the discovery of drugs.
Charles Richard Losee, 54, 311 W. Valleyview Drive, Syracuse, is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a narcotic drug, both level 6 felonies; and possession of methamphetamine with enhancing circumstances and possession of a narcotic drug with enhancing circumstances, both level 5 felonies.
On Oct. 25, a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office deputy noticed a speeding vehicle near North Webster and pulled the vehicle over. The driver was identified as Losee.
According to court documents, while speaking with Losee, the deputy noticed a folded piece of foil containing heroin on Losee’s lap. Upon searching Losee’s person, responding officers found meth.
Losee told officers he purchased the drugs in South Bend.
Losee has prior convictions for dealing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, dealing meth, possession of two or more chemical reagents or precursors, and possession of meth.
Losee also has pending criminal charges for possessing meth, possessing paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance.
Losee was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Nov. 13, with a $10,500 surety and cash bond.
