SIDNEY — The incumbents win the 2023 election with Sharon Rancourt, Brandon Allen and Gavin Parrett all returning to their seats on Sidney Town Council.

There were four candidates running in the election:

• Republican, Sharon Rancourt
• Democrat, Rebecca Adams
• Democrat, Brandon Allen
• Democrat, Gavin Parrett

With a total of 65 votes, Rancourt received 21, Adams received 10, Allen received 22 and Parrett received 12. Ultimately, Adams lost to incumbent Parrett by two votes.

All three incumbents were unavailable for comment.
