Rosa, Other Incumbents Reelected To Nappanee Common Council

NAPPANEE — Nappanee District 3 City Councilwoman Amy Rosa (R) was the only incumbent member to face a challenger in Tuesday’s municipal election. Rosa dispatched challenger Charlie Burkley handily, taking 83% of the 387 votes cast.
Austin Yoder (R) was elected to his first term representing District 2. He ran unopposed. Yoder will replace Council Member Dana Hollar who chose to not seek another term.
Also running unopposed and earning reelection to the common council were incumbents Kelbi Veenstra (R-at large), Ben Leavitt (R-District 1) and Dustin Geyer (R-District 4).
Mayor Phil Jenkins (R) and Clerk-Treasurer Jeff Knight (R) were each chosen to serve another term in Nappanee City Hall.
