Judy Kaye Rice, 69, Columbia City, died at 1:53 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

She was born Aug. 15, 1954. On Jan. 31, 1981, she married Danny Lin Rice Sr., who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children, Heather Rice, Columbia City, Renee Howell and Roger Rice, both of Huntertown, Jennifer Fryback and Danny Rice Jr., both of Fort Wayne, and Jason (Elizabeth) Fryback and Megan (Johnny) Couch, both of Columbia City; daughter-in-law, Melissa Rice; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Barbara Ordway, Hamilton, Margaret Burniston, Fort Wayne, Sharon Burniston, Auburn, and James (Alex) Burniston Jr., Fort Wayne; and companion, Bob Mudrack, Columbia City.

DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, Columbia City, is handling arrangements.
