SOUTH BEND — The Food Bank of Northern Indiana and WNDU-TV News Now are joining forces for the second annual Turkeys on the Table challenge.

The event aims to put turkeys on the Thanksgiving tables of families in need in the food bank’s six-county service area, which includes Kosciusko, Elkhart, Marshall, LaPorte, Starke and St. Joseph counties.

A $15 donation will provide a turkey and hope this Thanksgiving for families in need. Donations can be made online at https://donate.feedindiana.org/FBNIN/wnduturkeysonthetablechallenge.

The challenge is running from now through Friday, Nov. 3.

The goal is to distribute 7,500 turkeys for Thanksgiving to families in need.
