James “Jim” Dill Gatewood, 66, Rochester, died at 5:32 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

He was born Oct. 1, 1957. On May 19, 1978, he married Kathy Conaway, who survives.

He also is survived by children, Holly (Jason) Borges, Fulton, and James P. Gatewood, Rochester; two grandchildren; brother, David Gatewood, Surprise, Ariz.; and sister-in-law, Nancy Gatewood, Noblesville.

Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, is handling arrangements.
