INDIANA — According to the 2023 County Health Rankings, Hamilton, Hendricks and Boone Counties are the three healthiest counties in Indiana. The rankings are based on research conducted by the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute.

Indiana’s top 15 healthiest counties are:

• Hamilton
• Hendricks
• Boone
• Hancock
• Warren
• Warrick
• Johnson
• Porter
• Dubois
• Carroll
• Ohio
• Whitley
• Tippecanoe
• Kosciusko
• LaGrange

Marion County ranks low on the list, ranking 86. Lake County comes in at 67, Allen is 47, Vanderburgh is 75, Elkhart is 24, St. Joseph is 48 and Wabash 58. Scott County is the lowest-ranked at 92.
