WARSAW — Phase 1 tree clearing for the Lincoln neighborhood sidewalk project is expected to get underway on or after Thursday, Oct. 19, according to a news release from contractor Phend & Brown.

Trees will be cleared from the right of way for construction of new sidewalks. Work will progress block by block through the project area. Daytime closures of street sections will occur to protect vehicles and workers. “No parking” signs will be installed in advance of closures to allow residents to move vehicles. Alternative routes are suggested to avoid delays. Work will occur only during daylight hours.

Changing weather conditions and/or internal schedule changes may alter work dates.
