Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 5:56 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, South CR 1300W, south of West CR 800S, Rochester. Driver: Nathaniel L. Myers, 40, Smalley Lane, Claypool. Myers’ vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
• 5:20 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, West Main Street, west of South CR 1150W, Mentone. Driver: John W. Lantz, 32, West Leigh Drive, Warsaw. Lantz’s vehicle hit a deer. Damage up to $10,000.
• 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 4316 W. 600N, Leesburg. Driver: Christopher D. Long, 65, North Lake Street, Warsaw. Long’s trailer hit a parked vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
• 10:49 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 4739 N. SR 13, Leesburg. Driver: Amy J. Marvel, 66, EMS B20C Lane, Pierceton. Marvel’s vehicle drove over a drain and her tire got stuck in it. Damage up to $5,000.
• 8:52 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, Fisher Avenue, north of Rozella Road, Warsaw. Driver: Chiquita M. Lane, 47, Rozella Road, Warsaw. Lane swerved to avoid a truck and her vehicle hit a curb and left the road. Damage up to $25,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, SR 13, south of East Palm Drive, Syracuse. Driver: Marissa I. Ortiz, 16, Salem Drive, Goshen. Ortiz’s vehicle accidentally went into a culvert. Damage up to $2,500.

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

• 8:02 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2348 N. 800W, Kewanna. Driver: Scott Hatton, 44, Kewanna. Hatton’s vehicle hit a deer.
• 4:08 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, US 31 and East CR 600N, Rochester. Driver: Xugiang Wang, 60, Columbus. Wang’s vehicle hit a deer.
