Kosciusko Extension Homemakers Offer Holiday How-To’s For Everyone

WARSAW — Registration is now open for “Christmas Elegance,” the Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers’ annual holiday program. It will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the Home and Family Arts Building, Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, Warsaw.
You do not need to be an extension homemaker member to attend the program.
Registrations are due by Wednesday, Nov. 1.
The morning session includes “Creating an Elegant Table Setting,” presented by Shannon Shepherd, “Elegant Christmas Table Centerpiece,” presented by Maple Avenue Florists, and “Elegant (but Easy) Festive Desserts,” presented by MaryAnn Leinhart-Cross.
Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Participants also can choose one optional craft session in the afternoon. Craft sessions to choose from include: “Mop Head Angel” by Janice Bolin (bring scissors and pliers to cut and twist wire); “Handmade Christmas Cards” with Carol Droke (all supplies will be furnished); and “Tulle Christmas Tree” with Sue Martin (indicate green or white; bring ruler and shears).
Sign-in will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, and the program will begin at 9:30 a.m. The registration fee for the day is $12, which covers the expenses for the morning refreshments, lunch and the supplies used by the guest speakers. If you choose to make a craft there is an additional fee of $7 to cover the craft supplies.
To register, send your check (in the amount of either $12 for the morning and lunch only, or $19 for the whole day) payable to Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers to Sue Martin, 3380 N. Old Farm Road W., Warsaw, IN 46582. Reservations are due no later than Nov. 1. You must preregister for your choice of classes. Class size may be limited.
