Tamara Sue “Tammie” Mahan, 63, Wabash, died at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, at home.

She was born July 21, 1960. On July 23, 1977, she married Jay Mahan, who survives.

She also is survived by six sons, Joseph (Beth) Mahan, Fort Wayne, Steven Mahan, Wisconsin, and Kyron Mahan, Jackson Mahan, Aiden Mahan and Ethan Mahan, all of Wabash; four daughters, Heather (Troy) Elliott, Huntertown, and Jessica (Mathew) Baker, Mariah Mahan and Amylia Mahan, all of Wabash; her parents, James and Mary Fields, Wabash; and one brother, James (Charlene) Fields, Wabash.
