WARSAW — An initial report from an accident at Jalynn and Detroit streets, Warsaw, is that five people were injured in a two-vehicle collision. The crash was reported at approximately 12:25 p.m. today, Sunday, Oct. 8.
The crash involved a Chrysler SUV and Chevrolet passenger car. The number of occupants in each vehicle is unknown nor are the extent of their injuries. After impact the Chrysler came to rest in the ditch on the northeast side of the intersection. The Chevrolet remained in the northeast corner of the intersection.
Lutheran EMS and Tippecanoe Township Fire Territory Paramedics transported the injured to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital. Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory also assisted at the scene.
Warsaw Police are investigating.
