Betty A. Eckert, 93, Beaver Dam Lake, rural Claypool, died at 5:36 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, at home.

She was born June 8, 1930. On Nov. 4, 1950, she married Merl H. “Bud” Eckert, who preceded her in death in 1995.

She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Chris) Cook, Warsaw; son, Michael (Mary) Eckert, Claypool; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Ginter, Hobart.

Hartzler Funeral Services, King Memorial Home, Mentone, is handling arrangements.
