WCHS Homecoming Celebration On Friday, Sept. 29

WARSAW — Mark your calendars for an evening of excitement as Warsaw Community High School, WCHS, proudly presents the annual homecoming festivities starting at 5 p.m. Friday, September 29.
The parade will feature the WCHS official homecoming court and creatively decorated floats, each representing the diverse clubs and sports offered at WCHS.
This year’s theme is “Movie Night” and spectators are invited to sport their favorite movie character costumes.
The parade will commence at the WCHS PAC parking lot, journey down Union Street, take a right onto Market Street and make a left onto Indiana Street. From there, it will turn left onto Main Street and continue onto Columbia Street, concluding at the corner of Columbia and Market Streets.
After the parade, WCHS Student Council will be hosting a Homecoming Alumni Dinner from 6-7 p.m. in the WCHS Cafeteria. All alumni and their families are warmly invited to enjoy dinner prior to the football game. Attendees should enter through the high school front doors, which will allow participants to see the recent renovations.
Tickets are available for just $10, which includes two hot dogs, chips, popcorn, and a drink. You can purchase tickets through the PAC website or by calling the PAC Office.
Every dollar raised will be donated to Riley’s Hospital for Children, supporting a great cause.
In addition, WCHS is offering a unique opportunity for community members to explore the new construction and renovations from 6-7 p.m. at Warsaw Community High School . Please enter through the front doors. This is your chance to witness firsthand the advancements that will benefit our students and the entire community for years to come.
As the sun sets, fans are asked to come to the WCHS Fisher Field for the highly anticipated homecoming football game against Wawasee, kicking off at 7 p.m. Attendees are invited to wear black for the game; seniors will be wearing orange. During halftime, WCHS will announce this year’s homecoming court, adding to the excitement of the evening.
