MILFORD — A Syracuse man was arrested after a vehicle pursuit which began in Warsaw and ended in Milford.
Harold Jason Caudill, 44, Syracuse, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Monday, Sept. 25, with preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, criminal recklessness, and reckless driving. The affidavit of probable cause for this incident will be published once it becomes available.
Shortly after 4 p.m. Sept. 25, Caudill fled from law enforcement via motorcycle.
According to Warsaw Police Department Public Information Officer Captain Brad Kellar, officers were attempting to stop Caudill after discovering the registration on the motorcycle expired in 2020.
Caudill fled from the area of Center and Lincoln Streets in Warsaw, then traveled north on SR 15 into Milford. Officers were eventually led to 406 Turkey Creek Drive, Milford, where Caudill was found hiding in a shed.
Caudill complained of right shoulder pain from a prior surgery and was treated and released from Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital. He was then taken to KCJ.
WPD was assisted at the scene by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office and Milford Police Department.
