Mary Ellen (Wieringa) Guyse, 70, Syracuse, died at 7:43 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023, at home.

She was born Dec. 24, 1952. On Nov. 17, 1989, she married Michael “Mike” Guyse, who survives.

She also is survived by her stepsons, Eric (Angel) Guyse, Rochester, and Patrick Guyse, Maryland; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sister, Connie (Ron) James, Ora; brother, Chuck (Susie) Wieringa, Knox; and sister-in-law, Cindy Wieringa, Knox.
