Farm Aid Releases 2023 Festival Schedule

NOBLESVILLE — Farm Aid is set to host their first Indiana festival in more than 20 years on Saturday, Sept. 23. The festival is being headlined by a number of legendary musicians while highlighting the important work of local farmers. Ruoff Music Center, 12880 E. 146th St., Noblesville, is hosting the event. Festivities begin at 12 p.m. with performances on the main stage beginning around 12:30 p.m.
Farm Aid was first hosted in 1985 to bring awareness about the importance of farming and raising money to support local family farms. Since the beginning, Farm Aid has raised more than $70 million to promote family farms and agriculture.
This year’s festival will highlight the hard work of family farmers to address climate change through “regenerative, organic and sustainable farming practices.” This is the first time in 20 years has hosted Farm Aid. Indiana has hosted Farm Aid in 1990 and 2001.

Farm Aid 2023 is sold out, but Ruoff Music Center is live broadcasting the event. According to Farm Aid’s website, the event will also be webcast on their website and YouTube channel.
