Connie L. Craig, 85, Warsaw, passed away Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, at Lutheran Kosciusko Community Hospital.

Born on Aug. 14, 1938, Connie was the daughter of Roy and Katharine (Perry) Holle. She graduated from Warsaw High School with the Class of 1956.
She met Jerry L. Craig when she was 15 and working the local fountain counter. The two would remain inseparable and wed on Jan. 11, 1957. They would share 65 years of marriage before his passing on May 7, 2022.
Connie worked for United Telephone in her early years, then for R.R. Donnelley’s and, lastly, for DePuy for 17 years, retiring in 1998. She also was the owner of The Casual Spot in Warsaw.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and a former worthy matron, was a member of Lambda Chi Omega and lifetime member of the Warsaw First United Methodist Church.
Connie cherished being with family and friends. She enjoyed golfing, crafting, being on bowling leagues when the kids were growing up, and traveling extensively after retirement.
She is survived by her daughters, Anita (Ron) Creech, of Celeste, Texas, and Jerilynn (Tim) Britton, of Mentone; son, Mark Craig, of Warsaw; grandchildren, Ronni Creech Hardin, of Frisco, Texas, Matthew (Kristina) Creech, of Midlothian, Texas, Steven (April) Craig, of Chesapeake, Va., Logan (Caitie) Britton, of Fort Bliss-El Paso, Texas, and Lucas (Rosio) Britton, of Warsaw; and great-grandchildren, Brayden Hardin, Riley Hardin, Samantha Creech, Kylie Craig, Kennedy Craig, Luke Britton, Celeste Britton, Madelyn Creech and soon-to-be baby girl, Britton.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; son, Doug; her parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
