MENTONE — Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. students and staff have received $23,500 of help via an annual charity golf outing in memory of late Tippecanoe Valley High School teacher and coach Scott Bibler.
At its meeting on Monday, Sept. 18, the TVSC Board accepted the donation raised from the Scott “Bibs” Bibler Sweet Sassy Golf Classic from Bibler’s widow Steph Bibler and Sara Boganwright, who serves on the committee for the event.
Funds from it are to be part of Bib’s Billfold, with monies both paying for Valley teacher grants and for students in need.
Bibler was killed in a plane crash in 2015.
