Former Warsaw Resident Receives 75-Year Pin From Order Of Eastern Star

NILES, MICH. — Former Warsaw resident Norma Anglin, 93, recently was recognized for 75 years of membership in the Order of the Eastern Star.
Anglin, who resides at West Woods of Niles, was presented in early September with a 75-year membership pin from Warsaw Chapter No. 88 of the Order of the Eastern Star, according to reporting by Max Harden of Leader Publications, Niles.
Anglin’s daughters and granddaughter were on hand for the pin presentation and a cake-and-ice-cream celebration.
“I didn’t realize it had been 75 years,” Anglin told the Niles newspaper.
Anglin originally joined the Eastern Star chapter in South Bend in 1948 when she was 18 years old.
The Order of the Eastern Star is a charitable, education and fraternal organization associated with the Masons.
