John Patrick Turner Jr., 79, Surprise, Ariz., formerly of Syracuse, died unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 4, 2023, at home.

He was born Feb. 2, 1944.

He is survived by his sisters, Debbie (Doug) Ferry and Nura Turner; a niece; and five great-nieces and nephews.

He will be interred at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
