Alzheimer’s Walk Set For Sept. 10 At Central Park In Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA — On Sunday, Sept. 10, Michiana residents will join the fight to end Alzheimer’s disease at the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
The event will start at 1 p.m. at Central Park in Mishawaka, which is a change in venue from the original location for the walk.
On Walk day, participants will honor those affected by Alzheimer’s with the Promise Garden ceremony. During the ceremony, walkers will carry flowers of various colors, each color representing their personal connection to the disease.
