WINONA LAKE — The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce’s Winona Lake Sunset Open 2023 Doubles Pickleball Tournament is coming up Saturday, Sept. 9, and Sunday, Sept. 10.
All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Combined Community Services, a nonprofit organization committed to helping those in need in the community.
Randy Polston, executive director of CCS, acknowledged his gratefulness for the support of the community.
“Together, we have been able to make a significant impact on the lives of so many individuals in Kosciusko County,” Polston said. “It is inspiring to see the kindness and generosity of CCS’s village, and I know that without it, we would face many challenges in meeting the ongoing needs of those we serve. Thank you for being a part of our mission and for continuing to make a difference with us.”
The pickleball tournament will feature a round-robin play format and is an opportunity for pickleball enthusiasts to showcase their skills while supporting charity.
Registration for the tournament is open until Friday, Sept. 1, and the cost is $30 per person with a $10 add-on for a second team. Checks should be made payable to the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce. You can sign up through the link at kchamber.com/event/doubles-pickleball-tournament. In case of rain, the tournament will be moved to the Gordon Recreational Center at Grace College.
