Ronald Earl Sparling, 74, Lagro, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, at home.

He was born Dec. 22, 1948. On Aug. 24, 1969, he married Lavonne Veverka, who survives.

He also is survived by two children, Kale Sparling, Gilbert, Ariz., and Kami (Scott) Ross, Lagro; four grandchildren; brother, Craig (Monica) Sparling, Lagro; and his sister, Joyce Gentry, Indianapolis.

Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash, is handling arrangements.
