WARSAW — Norfolk Southern has notified the city of Warsaw that the Pope Street railroad crossing will close at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, for repairs.

The crossing is not expected to reopen until late in the day on Friday, Aug. 25, pending work staying on schedule.

Pope Street will be closed to all traffic at the crossing.

Residents are encouraged to plan for additional travel time and an alternative route during the closure.
