Cost Of All-Sport Passes For Warsaw High School Students Covered Through Collaboration
Press Release
WARSAW — Warsaw Community Schools is celebrating its second year of partnership with SYM Financial Advisors.
This collaboration continues to elevate student involvement and cultivate an atmosphere of school spirit by generously covering the cost of all-sport passes for every ninth through 12th grade student at Warsaw Community High School.
Building upon the success of the inaugural year, the renowned Warsaw Tiger cheer block proudly retains its identity as the “SYM Zone.” Sporting the orange SYM Zone logo, students and fans alike can join in the excitement at regular home athletic events, including basketball and football games.
“We simply want to provide the opportunity for each student to have a free pathway to participation,” said Steve Yeager, principal, senior financial advisor at SYM Financial Advisors. “We believe that cheering on our local teams is one of the best avenues for students to be entertained, involved, and gain community for themselves.”
In the spirit of this partnership, WCS administration are thrilled to unveil two of the exciting cheer block themes for the upcoming year:
- Homecoming: At 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, WCHS will face off against Wawasee High School, igniting the spirit of homecoming and Tiger Pride. Parade details will be released within the next few weeks. Seniors will be wearing orange attire and everyone else is invited to wear black.
- PINK OUT with Ribbon Walk and Survivor Reception: At 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13, as WCHS takes on Northridge High School, the stadium will be awash in pink as the cheer block hosts a powerful PINK OUT event. A ribbon walk will occur at halftime, and an inspiring reception for cancer survivors will immediately follow, creating an atmosphere of hope, strength, and solidarity.
This partnership underscores SYM Financial Advisors’ dedication to empowering students and amplifying their role as enthusiastic supporters of their school’s athletic endeavors. Recognizing the profound impact of fostering school spirit, SYM strives to create an inclusive environment by removing any cost barrier to participation in the WCHS community.
WCS corporate sponsors do not participate in decisions on themes or school policy. All themes are developed by the cheer block student leadership team in the Tiger Leadership Council, in collaboration with WCHS administration and the athletic department.
