Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club Sets Golf Outing For Sept. 12

WINONA LAKE — The Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club’s 16th annual Golf Outing is set for Tuesday, Sept. 12.
It’s at Stonehenge Golf Course in Winona Lake. The club has raised more than $130,000Â to support programs for local youth through the annual golf outing.
Registration starts at 11 a.m., and people will enjoy lunch. A shotgun start will get the outing kicked off at 1 p.m.Â
Prizes include a vehicle, an ATV, a golf cart and a free night stay at a Fort Wayne hotel. Prizes will be given to the winning team, the team with the highest score, the longest drive and putt and more.
There will also be a bourbon basket valued at more than $700 up for raffle the day of the event. It contains a custom-designed charcuterie board, decanter, cocktail glasses and three different types of bourbon.
Tickets sell for $20 each or six for $100 and may be purchased in advance from club members or on the day of the event at Stonehenge.
