NORTH WEBSTER — Failure to yield was the cause of a collision accident between Jordan Karczewski, 24, New Road, Lakeville, and Dustin Morr, 24, CR 200N, Cromwell, on Wednesday, Aug. 9. Damages are estimated up to $25,000
According to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputies, Karczewski, who was eastbound on Epworth Forest Drive, told officers he believed Morr, who was riding a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle, was westbound turning right onto Panarama Drive and that he had time to complete his turn. He turned into Morr’s path, which Morr was unable to avoid the accident.
Damage to Karczewki’s vehicle, a 2019 Ford panel truck, owned by FedEx, sustained damage from the front passenger corner to the back corner panel where Morr’s motorcycle came to rest.
Morr sustained head injuries in the accident and was airlifted to an area hospital by Lutheran Air. There is no update on his condition.
